These Coronavirus test kits (from our trusted UK manufacturer) are available to health care providers and professionals (including those employed in the workplace with health and safety roles). They have received approval from the same hospital which has recently been in the news for helping save the life of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Experts at Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Hospitals and Kings College University in London have compared the accuracy of tests from different companies. The published data shows that our manufacturer’s test performed outstandingly in critical areas – so well that the hospital is now using them daily.
This professional standard test kit identifies the body’s response to coronavirus 3-7 days after infection, and gives a qualitative yes/no result within 10 minutes. It is MHRA approved CE, BS EN & ISO certified and when compared to laboratory screening could help control the spread of the virus by identifying infection before symptoms appear.
KIT INCLUDES: 25 Test Cassettes, Lancets, Droppers & Buffer Solution (Please be aware these kits provide enough buffer solution for 25 tests in one container.).
HOW TO USE: The test cassette is easy to use, needing only a finger-prick blood sample and buffer solution to function, much like a home blood glucose test. As well as whole blood, the cassette can also be run with serum or plasma samples. The possible results are as follows:
- NEGATIVE (C line shows on the cassette)
- POSITIVE M (C & M lines show on cassette) IgM antibody present which would mean recent exposure to Coronavirus.
- POSITIVE G (C & G lines show on cassette) IgG antibody present which would indicate a later stage of infection.
- POSITIVE G & M (C, G & M lines show on cassette) IgG & IgM antibodies are present and indicates a positive result.
If NO Control Line (C) appears the test has failed so repeat the test
Please be aware that we are offering this test at a fair price and our policy is to NOT make inflated profits from this product during this crisis.
SYMPTOMS: The most common symptoms associated with Coronavirus are fever, tiredness and a dry cough. However, symptoms can take up to 14 days to appear so it is difficult to know if someone has been infected ahead of these conditions appearing. In the meantime, infected people can spread the virus unknowingly.
